Head of Marketing

Job description

About the role

We’re looking for a new colleague to help establish Daltix as thought leader and give our company the exposure it deserves. Therefore, we need you: a ballsy and creative marketeer with a wide variety of skills. You get energized by (co-)creating a stellar marketing strategy and have experience in shaping and growing a brand identity that stands out. You have already helped develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels and you have the necessary knowledge and technical skills to keep track of the performance of our marketing endeavours.

What you do

  • You will create the marketing strategy for Daltix to enable us to continue our stellar growth. Lead-generation (also for new markets), branding, content creation, … You are a jack of all trades.

  • You will help us to become the thought leader in retail data

  • You are the owner and allocator of the marketing budget

  • You do not have to execute everything yourself. You can act as the coordinator between the different internal and external stakeholders and liaise with agencies where necessary.

  • You are responsible for the creation of our new website, house style (branding, communication, etc.)

  • You are responsible for enforcing one consistent image and perception of Daltix across all of our touchpoints (content pieces, communications, posts, design, branding, visuals, outreach and sales materials, etc.), across our audiences (prospects, customers & potential hires)

  • You will ensure that Daltix reaches the right messages across the right channels to achieve top-of-mind awareness among leads, clients and potential hires. E.g. You will create a content plan with proposed timelines and channels.

  • You will enable hiring managers by helping us highlight why Daltix is a great employer. We have an exceptional team and offer some great perks. Let's keep attracting the right talent by putting the word out there.

About us
Daltix is enabling big names in retail to make better decisions based on data rather than gut-feeling. Despite our small company size, we are world-class in harvesting and analyzing data that allows clients to measure the influence of (regional) competition, prices, promotions, products and assortments in retail. We compete head-to-head with big companies and usually outperform them thanks to our ambitious all-star team. It’s now our goal to internationalize and become the thought leader in retail data across all markets we’re active in. Daltix has offices in Belgium (Ghent & Antwerp) and Portugal (Lisbon).

Marketing team at Daltix

We work hard to deliver the best possible data to our customers. We are extremely proud of our offering and we believe that we are the best data supplier in the industry. Now, we want to spread this message to the market. This is where you come into play. You will be the first marketeer at Daltix, so you will receive a lot of autonomy and room to try things out. You won't be on your own, though. For all things marketing you will partner up with our Sales and Professional Services team. As we’re planning to internationalize in the coming years, the team will grow along.

What do we offer?

  • The opportunity to shape the marketing strategy and brand identity for a promising scale-up

  • An open company culture where we play as hard as we work
    • Flexible work arrangements with a lot of autonomy in what you do and where you do it - we trust you to know your schedule and work when you feel most productive

    • A high-paced environment, no two days are the same. Be part of an interesting and dynamic start-up and enjoy the scaling process.

    • A work environment where you are surrounded by talented and international teams of top-notch experts

  • A competitive wage and benefits (incl. health insurance coverage)

  • Opportunities to participate in relevant training to stay at the top of your field (and/or squad rotations to learn new skills)

  • The opportunity to visit our Lisbon office, the sunshine capital of Europe
