Marketing Intern

Job description

Daltix is a fast-growing, data-driven, international start-up from Belgium with offices in Antwerp.

We are bringing real-time insights into the world of retail. How do we do that? We have developed a set of tools to gather, process and analyze retail data which we offer to our clients through our very own platform.  Both retailers and suppliers in DIY and FMCG are making use of our platform. We are trusted by partners such as: Albert Heijn, Delhaize, Lidl, Jumbo, Dreamland, Unilever, Lotus and TestAankoop.

Sign me up! No wait... What will I be doing?

We are looking for a kickass Business Intern who is excited to help us conquer the Benelux market. This isn’t the kind of internship where you will be making coffee. This is a hands-on opportunity that offers a wide array of interesting tasks. You can expect to be the owner and end-responsible of your work. Basically: make us look, feel and sound like a billion bucks.

Can you give some examples?

  • Perform (international) market research: determine which countries/markets we should (or should not) focus on and why, define metrics, present your findings to the team with experienced sales and marketing profiles.

  • Manage our social media channels and website

  • Some copywriting, sharing exciting insights in a B2B setting

  • Beautify our PowerPoint boring sales presentations

  • In one word: be our Marketing Wunderkind (not technically one word, but you get the point)

Why are you the one we are dying to meet:

  • You are available for a minimum of 3 months

  • You have some prior experience working in Business or Marketing

  • You study/studied Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design or a related field, and will have the student status for the duration of the internship

  • You have strong presentation skills

  • You have experience working with digital design tools (InDesign, Photoshop or other)

  • You are autonomous and responsible in your work: you know how to work on a project without constant input, but relying on your own skills combined with coaching from colleagues

  • You are fluent in English (fluency in Dutch and/or French is a plus)

  • You are based in Antwerp or you are willing to commute

If you still need more convincing…

  • We are a young, entrepreneurial and fast-growing company; you will have the unique opportunity to shape our future and have a positive impact on our clients’ business

  • Flexible work arrangements with a lot of autonomy in what you do and where you do it, and home office -  We trust you to know your schedule and work when you feel most productive

  • An open company culture where we play as hard as we work

  • Fresh fruit, snacks, tea and coffee on the house

  • Occasional drinks and team events

  • You’ll get the chance to meet and work with industry professionals and help lift the company to the next level

Join us on the path to becoming the Google of retail and change the way retailers and suppliers work !
